"Khaled Ahmad Hamdan Abu Shaar, an 8-year-old boy from Rafah, was left paraplegic after an Israeli bombing on 13/11/2024 caused severe spinal cord injuries from shrapnel. He spent 19 days in the ICU on a ventilator and feeding tube and is now being treated at the European Gaza Hospital for wound management and severe cachexia. His mother, Samar Atallah Abu Shaar, is urgently appealing for medical evacuation abroad to secure specialized rehabilitation for her son. However, Israel continues to block medical evacuations, preventing Khaled from receiving the life-saving care he needs. DM for contact details of the family.
