Archivist Notes On This Video

Journalist Imad Dalloul is documenting the destruction of a residential building in Ma'an, east of Khan Younis after it was subject to an Israeli airstrike by night.

He reports that three people were killed in the buildings that sheltered displaced families. He interviews a witness confirms that her family was displaced from Gaza City and sheltering in the building where they were renting a room, next to the family of a paramedic with his wife and children. The paramedic was wounded and taken to the ICU whereas his wife and 6 year-old and 15 year-old sons were killed. The bomb penetrated the floor above where her son was sleeping. Seh says that her son's leg had slipped through the floor and he fell to the floor below. She is thankful that her son was only injured and says that had her husband not been at work at the European Hospital he may have been killed.
