"I am now on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City. This is the house of the Abu Riyala family which was bombed a short while ago by the Israel occupation army. The house was as high as the neighboring houses but now looks as though it was only one-storey-high. Anumber of martyrs were pulled out and an even larger number of people are still under the rubble. People are trying to find the martyrs by digging with their hands as Civil Defense crews are helpless without heavy machinery that could allow them to lift the rubble. Volunteers, neighbors, relatives and survivors are trying to lift the rubble with their hands. As for the elderly women over there, they are relatives of the martyrs, and anticipate hopefully positive news that some of their relatives were pulled out alive. Locals insisted that there is a large number of people under the rubble, and only four were found."

Around 10:30 am, an Israeli airstrike targeted the house of the Abu Riyala family in Al-Jalaa Street, in the middle of Gaza City.

Seven people were killed.
