"The mother, Abeer Abu Yousef from Khan Younis, was denied permission by Israel to accompany her child, a kidney patient, during his medical evacuation from Gaza. Heartbroken, she had to send her other young daughter as a companion instead. Abeer expressed deep sadness for not being able to be by her sick child’s side during this critical time.
