On January 22, in the evening, Israeli occupation forces besieged a house during 5 hours, sheltering resistance fighters involved in the Al-Funduq attack against a bus of settlers ten days ago.

• Media sources said that an undercover Israeli force infiltrated the town and besieged a citizen’s home in Burqin town.

• Israeli forces have also used rockets and drones in their clashes. Additional reinforcements have been sent to the village as the siege continues.

• Hassan Sobh, the town’s Mayor, told the WAFA News Agency that the Israeli army used women and children as human shields, demanding they evacuate the building over loudspeaker.

• The both men refused to surrender and engaged in intense clashes with the forces in Burqin, west of Jenin. For at least the ninth time, Israeli forces targeted their house with a shoulder-fired missile. Part of the besieged house collapsed due to the repeated shelling.

• The army then opened heavy fire at the home, fired “Energa” anti-tank grenades at it, and carried out several drone strikes, executing the two young men, and detaining their bodies.

• Two Israeli soldiers were wounded during the operation.

• The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the owner of the bombed home, a 60-year-old citizen was transported to hospital after soldiers shot him in both of legs with live ammunition.

• On Thursday morning, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the deaths of the two young men, Qutaiba Walid Ahmad Shalabi, 30, and Mohammad Asad Mahmoud Nazzal, 25, adding that the army confiscated the bodies of the slain young men.
