On July 5:

Israeli settlers have reportedly opened fire on Jabal Bir Qouza village in the town of Beita, south of Nablus. The area lies near Jabal Sabih (Mount Sabih), which is around 570 m in elevation at the center of land ownership disputes due to settler outposts (Evyatar) and Israeli military activity and mass protests by Palestinians. These masked Israeli settlers also attacked the outskirts of the town of Beita by throwing stones on homes and civilians and they set fire to a vehicle. Palestinians in Beita resisted settler incursions from Mount Sabih. A young man was hit by rubber-coated bullets.

Jabal Bir Qouza (also referred to as Bir Qouza) is a locality near Beita, a Palestinian town approximately 9–11 km south of Nablus in the northern West Bank. Jabal Bir Qouza is a "contested" rural area south of Nablus, closely tied to Beita and Jabal Sabih. It has been a flashpoint in the ongoing conflict involving settler aggression, military raids, and Palestinian resistance.

The area lies near Jabal Sabih (Mount Sabih), which is around 570 m in elevation at the center of land ownership disputes due to settler outposts (Evyatar) and Israeli military activity and mass protests by Palestinians. Israeli settlers from nearby outposts have repeatedly attacked or vandalized local villages, including Bir Qouza and Za’tara, often under the protection of Israeli forces.

Palestinian residents resisted these incursions; clashes have involved live fire and tear gas, resulting in injuries
