Israeli occupation forces stormed six schools in the city of Hebron on Thursday and detained a number of teachers. Palestinian sources reported that occupation forces raided schools located in the Sheikh neighborhood and the southern area of the city, searched their buildings, and confiscated photographs and textbooks before detaining teachers and assaulting some of them. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education condemned this assault, affirming that storming schools and detaining teachers constitutes a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws, particularly conventions related to the protection of education.
