A very difficult night is being experienced in northern Gaza now.

Northern Gaza, especially Beit Lahia, is being subjected to heavy and violent shelling, and the shooting does not stop at the homes of the residents. Literally, a night from hell.

Statement from the Civil Defense spokesperson on the 60th day: "The occupation has wiped out entire families and is targeting anyone who moves in the streets. What is happening is ethnic cleansing. The occupation destroyed infrastructure, homes and schools over the course of 60 days in North Gaza and forcibly displaced more than 130,000 citizens. More than 70% of the martyrs during the military operation in North Gaza are still under the rubble. The starvation policy pursued by the occupation has led to the death of some people from hunger. The occupation has been preventing our crews from performing their humanitarian duties in North Gaza for 42 days There are cries for help from some citizens under the rubble, asking us for help, to no avail. 13 fire engines stopped working in the central and southern Gaza Strip due to lack of fuel. We call on the international community to intervene urgently to restart the system so that we can save the lives of citizens."

• Early morning: Israeli forces attack schools/shelters across Beit Lahia. Around 8 were killed and 20 injured

• 8 am: strike on a group of young men at Kanaan intersection in Beit Lahia. 3 killed (sources: 1 2) from the same family

• 8:30 am: strike on a group of people neat Beit Lahia Stadium. 2 killed

• 10:30 am: strike on a group of people in Fishara intersection, Jabalia al-Balad. 2 killed

• 6:30 pm: buildings blown-up in Beit Lahia

• 7 pm: soldiers torch houses in Jabalia in conjunction with artillery shelling

• 8 pm: intense artillery shelling around Beit Lahia schools covering the advance of IDF vehicles in their direction

• 9 pm: Israeli forces plant explosive barrels again in residential areas of Beit Lahia while drones and helicopters open fire towards houses

• 9:30 pm: Israeli forces besiege Abu Tammam school in Beit Lahia

• 10 pm: Artillery sheling in Jabalia al-Nazla
