On December 7, a young Palestinian woman was filmed receiving a stomach injury at the Qalandia checkpoint and the images were posted on social media. However, no further explanation or article has been published in the online press. Her fate is therefore unknown, as is her name and the reason given for shooting her. She only has her phone in her hand and was filmed collapsing and losing consciousness after being shot.

On december 8, a young Palestinian man was killed on Saturday by Israeli army fire near the Qalandia checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem with Israeli forces alleging the individual "launched fireworks at their troops near the checkpoint." and a security guard, feeling threatened, opened fire and "neutralized" the suspect.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams received the body of a Palestinian in his twenties at Qalandia and transferred him to a nearby hospital.

Earlier, the Red Crescent had stated that it had received a report of an injury at the Qalandia checkpoint, and its medical teams were on their way to the location.
