In March 2024, Israeli forces reportedly used a 25 y/o Palestinian detainee named Jamal as a human messenger at Al-Nasser Hospital. He was forced—under duress and while handcuffed—to enter the hospital and deliver evacuation orders to civilians.
According to eyewitnesses:
A man wearing overalls and a yellow headband (detained by the IDF) entered the hospital multiple times to relay the orders. Locals identified him as Jamal Abu al‑Ola. Jamal appeared visibly frightened and did not seem to speak naturally, as described by medical staff.After doing so, when he returned to the Israeli forces, he was shot dead in cold blood despite being bound and compliant.
