Around 10 am, Israeli artillery targeted areas near Al-Qassam cemetery in Nuseirat camp, central Gaza.

Three people were killed, including Khaled Nabhan, who made global impact in footage where he was seen mourning his granddaughter Reem, calling her "the soul of the soul". Reem and another of his grandchildren were killed in Israeli airstrike that targeted his family in November 2023.

The Israeli attack was a mere two buildings away from the scene of the deadly massacre at Nuseirat post office area three nights before, where 40 people were killed.
