"This child's family was approved for medical evacuation, except for him. He had to say goodbye to his father and was left in the care of his uncle. Palestinian families undergoing medical evacuation are being separated without any knowledge of when they will reunite. Israel's COGAT decides which family members are allowed to leave, with no explanation given for why some are denied. Meanwhile, there are reports that some evacuated families are being forced to sign papers stating that they will not be allowed to return to Gaza once they arrive in the country of treatment.
