"I am at the Hafsa school, in al-Faluja, in Jabalia, and here, the IOF perpetrated another massacre. This piece of bread, has been dipped in its owner's blood. Whereas here, people are searching for the remains of the martyrs and of their companions with their bare hands. The situation here is difficult. There is crying and weeping in every corner and the relatives of the victims are still unaware of the latter's fate.

The Civil Defense are on the premises, and the school itself sustained significant damage. Relatives of the victims are still arriving as they seek to ascertain the fate of their relatves. The death toll is not determined yet, but the emergency services and civil defense have already carried a large number of casualties

Islam proceeds to interview Fares Afana, a manager at the Emergency Medical Services who confirms finding a large number of martyrs. He describes the gravity of the crime of bombing of people sheltering in schools after their homes were destroyed, and citing a series of previous Israeli bombings of schools in northern Gaza with weapons that tear the victims apart.

(2:38) "These grains, amid the famine in northern Gaza, have been mixed with the blood of the martyrs. Here was the largest number of martyrs, and right next to it, a pile of torn body parts."

In the afternoon, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Hafsa school in the Shadia Abu Ghazala Schools complex in Al-Faluja area of Jabalia. Like other schools, thousands of displaced people were sheltering here.

Journalist Abdelqader Sabbah documented that the point of impact of the Israeli airstrikea, where most of the victims were found piled up, was a gathering at food kiosks in the school courtyard. Journalist Islam Bader confirmed that and added that right next to the kiosk there was a food a bank, and two ladies baking bread. Both ladies were killed, and bloodstained bread was found on the scene.

The attack has killed at least 15 people and injured others in the school. Footage shows multiple bodies dismembered, beheaded, torn to shreds, and gruesomely disfigured. The victims include women and children. Dozens more have been wounded, some severely, as the search continues for those missing under the rubble.
