"This is me, this is my story. I returned to Gaza just five days before the war, after spending ten years studying abroad. I came back with dreams, with hope, with a heart full of joy. I had no idea that everything would change so drastically, that in the blink of an eye, I would lose 72 family members. This video was taken on October 3rd. It was a day of celebration, a day filled with laughter and joy as my family gathered to celebrate my return and my graduation from medical school. We danced, we hugged, we shared stories and dreams for the future. Most of the family members in this video are no longer with us. The faces you see, the smiles, the voices—they were silenced! We are not just numbers. We had lives, we had stories, we had dreams. We were loved, and we loved in return. #Gaza #Usa #palestine #GazaGenocide"
