Translation:

"There are medical centers where casualties are usually taken. However, eventually all casulaties, injured and martyrs, to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital being the main public-sector hospital in Central Gaza. The remaining hospials such as Al-Awda and Al-Ahli are privately operated and typically are specialty-based, whereas Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital provides a wider range of medical care services. For instance, Al-Awda hospital (Nuseirat) is specialized in maternity care. But amid the war, such specialty wards become emergency rooms that get expanded to compensate for the hospitals and clinics that were targetted and put out of service by Israeli attacks. The are local clinics whose capacity do not compared with the main public-sector hospitals. Here, the capacity of Nasser Medical Complex is equal to that of 5 or 6 local clinics, in terms of bed capacity.

Local clinics do not have inpatient wards and can only provide first aid along with small operations, whereas anything requiring an operating room goes to the main hospitals, compounding the pressure on those main governmental facilities.

Hospitals in North Gaza, Indonesian and Kamal Adwan hospitals, have emphasized they are at risk of shutting down due to the lack of electricity, fuel, and essential medical supplies. despite how crucial these hospitals are.

One point that tends be forgotten is that the medical staff are drained. Workers have been working relentlessly for over 11 months, not even seeing their families while being themselves displaced. Some doctors have worked at 4 different hospitals due to the forced discplacement. Therefore, amid their extreme exhaustion they are also relying on medical students and other volunteers among civilians to sustain health care services."*
