"14.12.2024--Here's what we achieved today in the North of Gaza: 1) Diaper Distribution in Al-Shujaiyah Today, we continued with our diaper distribution initiative, providing 125 packs of diapers to families in Al-Shujaiyah neighborhood. While we were fortunate to secure these diapers at a lower cost, families in North Gaza are paying nearly triple the amount due to inflated prices caused by the ongoing siege. (previous post) 2) Haircuts for Everyone! Day 7 of our Mobile Barber Point was held today at Gaza Al-Jadeeda School in North Gaza. Our team of barbers gave 150 free haircuts, bringing smiles and comfort to children and adults alike. The buzzing of electric razors mingled with the hum of drones overhead, but for a brief moment, everyone could feel a little sense of normalcy. (video below) Food, Bread, and Water Distribution We carried on with our essential initiatives to support North Gaza: 3) 29,000 liters of fresh water delivered to Al-Shaaf (14000 liters - 2 trucks), Al-Tufah (5000 liters - truck), and East Al-Zaytoun (5000 liters - water tanks), west of al-Shati' camp (5000 liters - truck) (two videos and other pictures inside Chuffed campaign) 4) 115 hot meals of rice, chickpeas, onions, and garlic distributed to Abu Bakr Al-Razi and Saed Bin Moath Schools.
