"Finally, I returned to my destroyed home in Beit Hanoun after 480 days. I lost my way twice while searching for it, as the massive destruction had completely changed the landmarks of the area. Nothing remained as it once was. Among the rubble of our house, I found my brother Mohammed’s keffiyeh. I picked it up and placed it on my shoulders. Words fail to describe how I felt.
