Day 12 of Israel's 3rd ground ivnasion of north Gaza.
After almost two full weeks of siege, Beit Hanoun Municipality issued an appeal to obtain fuel to operate water wells, sewage pumps, desalination plants and sanitation services Source.
Israel started propagating false reports of allowing aid trucks in northern Gaza. Many journalists on the ground in the northern Gaza refuted these claims, clarifying that the trucks reached the southern parts of the North Gaza, but no aid was allwoed inside the beiseged areas: Jabalia Camp, Jabalia City, Jabalia Al-Nazla, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia. The Ministry of Health denounced Israel's actions to undermine the healthcare infrastructure in north Gaza and cause its collapse. The IDF had notably fired at the administrative office of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and ordered all medical staff to leave the four operating hospitals: Kamal Adwan, the Indonesian, Al-Awda, and Al-Yemen Assaeed hospitals
Kamal Adwan hospital is filled to capacity, with cases requiring intensive medical care being transferred to the neonatal unit due to the lack of space. There are many critical cases and even cesarean deliveries are being performed under dangerous and unsanitary conditions
Journalist Osama Abu Rabee reported on the worsening situation in Jabalia as "explosions are getting closer to densely populated areas" and confirmed reports the IDF planting explosive barrels in such areas, namely the Abu Rashid pond area and the Safi building materials warehouses.
This was corroborated by journalist Anas Al-Sharif's report and footage from those areas, as well as by a report for Al Araby TV, journalist Islam Bader (Source): "Israel is not conducting military operations per se, meaning they're not looking for tunnels or other such infrastructure as they often say. Rather, the IDF is conducting a limited incursion with a limited number of vehicles inside residential neighborhoods including Al-Faluja and the vicinity of Abu Rashid pond. An armored vehicle would advance followed by a D9 bulldozer carrying boxes of explosive barrels. They would plant the explosives between houses, retreat from the area and detonate them. This is what they did in the vicinity of different areas: Al-Faluja cemetery area, Al-Ayla mosque, Abu Rubayie bakery, An-Nour mosque, the old Al-Faluja market. The IDF did the same last night in the area between Abu Sharar and Abu Rashid pond. [...] These areas are currently inhabited and such detonations cause a large number of deaths and injuries."
There were also reports further confirming that IDF soldiers torched houses in Bir Al-Naja Source. Journalist Younis Tirawi uncovered pictures shared by soldiers on social media showing them smiling while holding molotov cocktails inside homes in Jabalia.
