"An Israeli occupation soldier raided an older Palestinian couple's home in Jabalia in December 2023 and, without warning, shot and killed their daughter and the husband’s brother before turning the gun on the 55-year-old woman. He shot her twice, once in the foot, shattering it, and once in the hand, fracturing her fifth metacarpal bone. Now awaiting surgery, she lives in fear, knowing her family has already received threats for simply surviving.
