Raed Saqr of the Civil Defense teams speaks of recovery efforts of corpses following the IDF's withdrawal: As the IDF withdrew from Street 5, Al-Katiba, and the areas around them, the Civil Defense teams headed to the home of the Shaath family to retrieve 2 martyrs, and found an elderly couple killed in the bedroom. The couple had gunshot wounds and their bodies were taken to Nasser Medical Complex, where autopsy was conducted and confirmed the couple suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
