"Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, recently spoke about the devastating loss of his son, Ibrahim, who was martyred near the hospital. While attending to other injured individuals, he recognized his son being carried by others; a moment he describes as surreal and shattering. Dr. Abu Safiya, accustomed to seeing countless martyrs, said receiving his own son’s body was beyond words. Despite the tragedy, he gathered the strength to lead his team, keeping the hospital functional amidst the chaos. He shared that after burying Ibrahim next to the hospital, he immediately returned to support his staff, fix critical departments, and restore operations. د.
