Journalist Islam Badr reported that the 3-story house was sheltering around 30 people who miraculously escaped: "More than 30 people, mostly children and women, survived after the collapse of a multi-story building they were living in, despite it being in danger of collapse due to its bombing during the war. Abu Shadi, one of the residents of the house, told me that they were forced to live here because they had no other option. He added that he is now homeless!"
