Context:

• The airstrike happened at 3am, targetting the house of Colonel Mohammad Morsi, Deputy Director of the Palestinian Civil Defense (first responders) in northern Gaza.

• The home is located in the Al-Alami area in Jabalia camp, in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan hospital.

• The scale of the damage in and around the house suggests it was the result of a potent bomb not from a drone strike.

• With this new murder, the number of Civil Defense workers killed in Gaza has reached 83.

Casualties:

• 5 members of the family were killed, from three generations: Colonel Morsi, his mother, 2 of his sons and his nephew. His other son Awda was injured. Source
