In the evening of October 1st, 2024, an Israeli airstrike targeted the vicinity of the Al-Sawarha school, in the Al-Sawarha area of Nuseirat, central Gaza.

10 people were reported killed, along with many injuries including children. Among the victims, 6 people form the Hasbullah family were killed.
