Palestine Today documents the arrival of the martyred journalist Muhammad Khreis, his wife, and a number of wounded, including children, to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after an Israeli bombardment targeted the tents of the displaced in the Al-Sawarha area, west of Al-Nuseirat, in the central Gaza Strip.

Archivist Notes: Khreis couple killed in their tent - Nuseirat

Around 10:15 pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent for displaced persons in the western Abu Salim area, south of Al-Sawarha School, west of Nuseirat camp, central Gaza.

The tent belonged to journalist Muhammad Khreis who was murdered along with his wife. The couple's little daughter Mira was injured along with other children. Mira passed away 2 days later.

Names of the martyrs:

  1. Muhammad Abdulaziz Muhammad Khreis (37 y/o, photojournalist)
  2. Wafaa Salah Khreis (32 y/o, wife)
  3. Mira Muhammad Abdulaziz Khreis (daughter, succumbed to wounds on the evening of November 12)
