Today, the child Omar Fahmi was injured here, in the ongoing Israeli shelling of the Zeitoun neighborhood. His injury was moderate, and he could have been saved had it not been for the stifling siege and ongoing aggression on northern Gaza. His father carried him in his arms, clinging to the hope of his survival as if his heart was beating for his child’s life, but fate was faster; Omar was martyred hours later. Martyrs are rising every moment, the wounded are groaning, hospitals are helpless, and there is no refuge or help except from God. Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
