The Israeli occupation's chaotic system of aid distribution is engineered around scarcity and humiliation. Israeli tanks and gunfire accompany a few trucks that are released onto a starving population which leads to children and the vulnerable getting zero aid. What Israel is doing is intentional and meant to break down the Palestinian spirit. Meanwhile in the North of Gaza, local community leaders were able to organize delivery of trucks themselves and ensured aid got to the families that need it." - Source
