Archivist Notes On This Video

From Nooh Alshaghnobi (Civil Defense): "The father and his son were pulled out from under the rubble after 10 hours of hard work by our bare hands due to the lack of any machinery. We pulled the father out after 4 hours and his son after another 5 hours of digging with our hands. We had lost hope that the child Manar would come out alive, but thank God he came out alive after 10 hours under the rubble. However, his mother and baby brother were underneath him and did not survive the strike on Haddad’s house in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood."

• The Al-Haddad family was bombed at 3am on September 6 in their home in Tal al-Hawa, in the vincity of the Jordanian fiel hospital, south of Gaza City.

• The mother and child perished under the rubble.

• The father and 6y/o child Manar were rescured after a spending 4 and 10 hours respectively under the rubble, in a lengthy rescue operation due to the lack of appropriate equipment.
