"In a searing CBS interview, journalist Deborah Patta confronted Gaza Humanitarian Foundation head Rev. Johnnie Moore over the aid system his group oversees—one that has left nearly 700 Palestinians dead and more than 4,500 injured in just over a month—shot while trying to reach food. “So my challenge to you,” Patta said, “is take us in. Let me come and see it for myself and report the good and the bad because if there is nothing to hide… then let us film it. Be transparent.” Moore refused. “That’s not a decision I can make alone,” he replied, citing vague concerns about “diversion of resources.” Patta cited doctors and eyewitnesses who say Israeli forces routinely open fire on civilians near GHF sites. Moore denied seeing evidence of casualties and claimed GHF can’t be held responsible for what happens “outside” their gates.
