According to the resident Ghada Sasa, on March 16, "for the last week, Israel has been uprooting olive trees in our occupied village of Madama, near Nablus, almost daily. It is annexing our land in the north, splitting our village in half, & forcing residents to travel kilometers, instead of meters, to reach our homes & lands. We now have to walk through the neighbouring village of Burin to access our homes. Some of my relatives' lands have already been bulldozed to make way for this "buffer zone". This is another genocidal colonial policy, denying our right to live."
