Archivist Notes: Al-Sheikh Jamil School night massacre

Around 9 pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted Al-Sheikh Jamil Boys Elementary School in Khan Younis, opposite of Nasser Medical Complex.

The airstrike set the school's third floor on fire and resulted in a large number of casualties, with a preliminary death toll of 20 people.
