His body was burned, and he is no more than four years old, trapped in Beit Hanoun with no hospitals or treatment to soothe the fire of his burns. He was displaced with others, passed from hand to hand until he reached the Baptist Hospital, repeating the last thing he remembers before the missile struck: his father bringing him a bird and feeding it a pomelo.
