Shortly before 3am on September 24th, 2024, Israel launched two simultaneous air strikes on houses belonging to the Jarghoun and Abu Harb families, in the city of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Seven people were killed and more than 15 injured. Casualties were taken to Nasser Hospital.

Their names:

• 4. Hala Samir Abu Samra
• 5. Mahmoud Sobhi Abu Taha

First report at 2:39am Pharmacist Mohammad Shoaib Al-Farra posts: "Two airstrikes on two separate targets simultaneously in Khan Younis city."

Safa correspondent: "Martyrs and wounded... most of them women and children, as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted two houses south and east of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip."

Jarghoun family

The brothers, Rami and Abdullah, were killed in an Israeli air strike, which also wounded their mother and four other family members.
