Gaza’s civil defense agency said on Wednesday two people were killed and 10 children injured in the latest Israeli strike on a school-turned-shelter, while the Israeli military reported it hit a Hamas command center.

“Two martyrs were recovered and 15 injured, including 10 children” after Israeli planes struck the Salah al-Din school in Gaza City, agency spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP.

The Israeli military said in a statement that the air force “conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists who were operating inside a command and control center” located in the school compound.

The occupation's warplanes targeted Salah Al-Din School, which shelters displaced people in western Gaza, resulting in a number of martyrs and injured. While rescue teams were working at the site, the planes targeted a house next to the school. The warplanes then struck the school again for the second time. Civil defense and ambulance teams tried to recover the martyrs. And IDF has issued another threat against the school and its surroundings.
