The report documents the Civil Defense crews bringing the dead bodies they retrieved at the massacre scene to Al-Ahli hospital. Journalist Khamis Abu Hasira interviews the Civil Deefense spokesperson who sated that the crews retrieved 9 bodies whereas those of two children were not found. He suspects that stray dogs may have dragged and eaten them.
Khamis also interviews Civil Defense member Abdullah Al-Majdalawi. He states that the crews waited long hours to obtain approval to reach the dangerous area after coordination with the UNOCHA. He says that everyone whow as in the car was killed, confirming that they were almost all children and women. Abdullah added that at least 3 bodies were found shredded and that bodies showed signs of having been gnawed at by animals. He also says there were signs indicating stray dogs may have dragged and eaten the missing two bodies.

Israel strikes car of the Abu Shaaban family, kills 11Around 6 pm, an Israeli strike targeted a civilian vehicle transporting the displaced Abu Shaaban and Shaaban families as they tried to check on their home east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. 11 people were killed, including 7 children.
According to the Palestinian Civil Defense, the car was struck by a drone, which was followed by artillery shelling.
The IDF only allowed Civil Defense to reach the site on midday the next day. Rescuers found the destroyed vehicle and everyone inside dead, whereas other dead bodies were scattered. One of the seven children, Nasser, was found with his body torn in half. The Civil Defense also note that the bodies of two children were not found, with signs indicating stray dogs may have dragged and eaten them.
