Teacher Ahmad Awad was killed after an Israeli occupation vehicle rammed into the car he and his wife were in today in Tulkarm.

On february 20, in Tulkarm, an Israeli military vehicle struck voluntarily a Palestinian car on Nablus Street near Tulkarm refugee camp. The driver, a Palestinian teacher, Ahmed Riyad Awwad, succumbed to his wounds early Friday morning after being critically injured in this assault.

Awwad was a resident of the town of Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm, His wife was injured injured along with him when the Israeli military vehicle, speeding in the wrong direction, rammed into their car. Both were transported to the hospital, where doctors later pronounced Awwad dead.

The number of Palestinians killed in Tulkarm and its refugee camps during the ongoing Israeli offensive (Iron Wall), now in its 26th day, has risen to 12.
