Archivist Notes On This Video

Anas Al-Sharif is documenting the struggle of hospital staff to treat casualties from Sahaba market which was bombed by an Israeli drone.

The hospital's director comments while treating a young boy: "*Honestly, the situation is unbearable. We're working next to the toilet since there's no room left. This spot is normally used to stock supplies; it's not a treatment area. We treat patients on the floor because of massacre after massacre after massacre. Unfortunately, the medical staff is finished. We have neither equipment nor specialised staff. I can in my area, which is neurology, but we have to treat cases of chest wounds or some related to the heart. We have no medicines, treatment, or room to treat patients."

Anas comments on the staff doing their best to address the large number of casualties in light of the considerable difficulties imposed on the healthcare system in Gaza, noting that such circumstances may lead to an increase in the death toll.
