Context:

• On September 7 afternoon, the IDF carried out the second airstrike of the day on a school in Northern Gaza, on Amr ibn al-Aas school in the Abu Iskandar area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

• The school was sheltering over 2,000 displaced people, according to resident Abd Arooq who expressed despair, stating, "There is no sanctity for mosques, schools, or homes." Source

• This strike is part of an escalating Israeli military strategy, targeting schools that house displaced civilians in northern Gaza. Within less than 24 hours, two schools in the area were hit.
