Due to the chaotic nature of the day, and multiple attacks in the same area, this caption has conflated two events. The Qishta brothers were not killed in Khirbet Al-Adas, they were killed in Musabah on their tractor. In a separate incident, a gathering of people was targeted in Khirbet Al-Adas and two were killed, one identified as Abdullah Wajih Abu Zaid.

It's most likely that this footage DOES depict the brothers' funeral, and simply got the location of their death wrong.

**September 16th, 2024 was a deadly day in Rafah. In four separate events, the IDF targeted homes, agricultural activities, public gatherings, and a simple pedestrian. Seven people were killed, and others injured in these attacks. **

In chronological order:

1. Two killed at Abu Shaar poultry farm, near Zaghloul Refrigerators

Hajja Iqzayah Al-Akhras, "Umm Bassam", and her son Marwan Ibrahim Abu Shaar, were killed as a result of a bombing that targeted their home north of Rafah.

Civil Defense: "Two people were killed, including an elderly woman, and there were a number of injuries in the bombing of the Abu Shaar family poultry farm opposite the Zaghloul Refrigerator northwest of Rafah city. It is a commercial facility, which was housing displaced people."

2. Two killed in Musabah area, Al-Shuhada Street

Muhammad Hamdan Qishta & his brother Nour Hamdan Qishta were killed in an Israeli drone strike on their tractor in the Musabah area, north of Rafah

Civil Defense reported: The bodies of two martyred brothers from the Qishta family were recovered after an agricultural tractor was targeted in Al-Shuhada Street in the Musabah area, north of Rafah Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, this afternoon.

3. Two killed in Al-Aqqad "Pump" school area, Khirbet Al-Adas, Genena neighborhood

Two people were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a group of citizens near the Al-Aqqad ("Pump") school in Khirbet Al-Adas, north of Rafah

The ambulance and emergency unit at Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital retrieved the body of Abdullah Wajih Abu Zaid, from the vicinity of the pump school in the Genena neighborhood, east of Rafah city. The name of the second victim is currently unknown.

4. One killed at Thalaqa Zaghloul intersection

Wael Abdel Fattah Safi was killed by an Israeli drone attack near the Thalaja Zaghloul intersection, (Zaghloul Refrigerators), north of Rafah. His body was retrieved and originally reported as "an unidentified martyr targeted by a reconnaissance missile near the Zaghloul refrigerator, northwest of the city of Rafah"
