Our food, our clothes, our belongings—all left behind in the desperate hope of surviving just one more day. All we seek is safety. All we hope for is to stay alive. The most terrifying moment came when I had to flee with my children under the sound of heavy shelling. Explosions shook the ground around us. The air was thick with smoke and fear. We ran through the chaos, not knowing where we were going—just running, just surviving. I saw the fear in my children’s eyes. They trembled, not from the cold, but from the terror of war. They asked me, "Where are we going, Mama?" and I had no answer. We now live with uncertainty every day. We have no home, no income, and barely any food or clean water. My children go to sleep hungry and wake up to more fear. Each morning, I wonder how I can keep them safe, how I can provide for them, how we can continue like this.
