The firstw itness, a Civi Defense member, says that the crew was struck as other members departed for a mission. He expresses outrage at the crews being constantly targeted by Israel – over 90 having been killed so far – while they only carry out a humanitarian duty, and amid a lack of proper equipment.

The second witness is speaking about how all the victims were civilians and children.

At midday, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Palestinian Civil Defense headquarters in the Holst Center near the Al-Sidra intersection in Al-Daraj neighborhood, Gaza City.

Five people were killed.

Among the victims was child Muhammad Najib Sukkar, the son of Civil Defense member Najib Sukkar who was also killed. Israel had killed Muhammad's brothers Naji and Yasser in the current genocide. Becoming Najib's only son, the two had grown very close and were sharing meals otgether. Muhammad had brought some food to his father at the Civil Defense headquarters when the Israeli strike killed them. Najib's widow has now effectively lost all her family
