Assassination of Ahmed Jihad Brahma (21) during a raid on Anza village

On September 24, 2025, Israeli forces shot dead the Palestinian youth Ahmad Barahmah (24) during a raid on Anza village, west of Jenin. The Israeli forces stormed the village in the morning of September 23, while the students were on their way to school, where classes were disrupted and confrontations took place between young men and the Israeli soldiers.

The soldiers seized the house of citizen Ali Bassam Ataya in the center of the village, and were stationed there and from there they fired gunshots in different directions, one of which hit Ahmed Jihad Brahma (20 years old), before they withdrew from the village.

He was hit by a bullet in the back and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, after which he died. He was an engineering student at Kadoorie University.

On September 24 in the morning, the occupation forces stormed several towns and villages south of Jenin, including Yamad, Sanur, Umm Dar, and others, and raided and searched homes there.
