Ethnic cleansing of Deir Hajla community

The Jahalin Bedouin residents of Deir Hajla, West Bank, who face severe humanitarian conditions with no water, electricity, or basic needs after Israeli forces demolished their entire community on August 3, 2025.

At 9 a.m., troops with two bulldozers surrounded the area, destroyed homes, and assaulted residents, 31 people, including 20 children. One man suffered facial fractures and was hospitalized. Soldiers forced deletion of all phone recordings under threat of smashing devices. The residents were forcibly displaced to the outskirts of Jericho, now living in dire conditions on private land with nothing.
